Dear Job Aspirants read this how this guy cracked job in Reserve Bank of India
Success Story of Nilesh Dalal
Nilesh Dalal gave 19 exams and struggled for 4 years before he was selected as Assistant in RBI. Here, he shares his success story with BankersAdda.First of all I thank Bankersadda to provide us A to Z of banking including notes, quiz, updates, discussion platform, guidance, interview tips, etc.
I am Nilesh Dalal, basically from a small town Parbhani in Maharashtra. I belong to a middle class
family & my father is a retired school teacher. I completed B.Tech (Agri Engg) & MBA.
I appeared 19 exams in banking sector in 4 years, including exams appeared during MBA. Out of these I cracked 11 exams( SBI Clerk, SBI Asso Clerk, ICICI PO, Syndicate AMRD, IBPS PO, IBPS CLERK, IBPS SO (Agri), ESIC UDC, IBPS PO 2nd, IBPS RRB PO,RBI Assistant). I got selected in 5 (Bank of Maharashtra Clerk, Dena Clerk, ESIC UDC, RBI Assistant, IDBI PO (IBPS PO 2nd )) , joined 2 (ESIC, RBI) of them, & now working in RESERVE BANK OF INDIA as a Assistant.
During this period, I struggled a lot, financial weakness, less source of income at home, father’s Cancer treatment, continuous failures in exams, pending education & other loans, slow procedure of IBPS, etc.
In short, I wanted to say that, even a non-scholar guy, average student like me can learn & achieve in banking sector. You just need to decide & dedicate yourself & concentrate on your goal. I had to give 19 exams, but I proved that “Nothing is impossible” by getting 170 score (72.2 %) in IBPS PO 2nd to all who used to tell me to leave banking preparation as its not your cup of tea. The simple Mantraa is “Practice, practice & practice”
I got habitual to see the Bankersadda twice a day. Because, I get everything regarding banking in this. I suggest Bankersadda to provide us special guidance for RBI Grade B exam.
Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
Nilesh P. Dalal
Assistant
Monetary Policy Department
Reserve Bank of India
